1. Introduction

1.1. Mealout® (We) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy (together with our website terms of use and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that we hold about you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following policy carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it respecting your privacy whilst remaining compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (EUGDPR) and the Data Protection Act (DPA).

2. Information we may collect from you

2.1 Browsing through our website does not require any personal information. Under certain circumstances though, we may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information about your computer and about your visits to and use of this website (including your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation).
  • Information relating to any transactions carried out between you and us on or in relation to this website, including information relating to any purchases you make of our services provided when purchasing the mealout® card (including name, postal address, email address, telephone number, as well as payment information).
  • Information that you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to our website services, email notifications and/or newsletters (including your email address).
  • We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

3. Uses made of the collected information

3.1 Personal information submitted to us via this website will be used for the purposes specified in this privacy policy or in relevant parts of the website. We may use information held about you in the following ways:

7. Member's rights

7.1 You have the right to ask us, or our selected third parties, not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We, or such third parties, will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes. 7.2 Our site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. 7.3 Your collected personal information remains in our highly secured in office systems for as long as it is required for mealout® to deliver its services to you. Information collected from members that have not renewed their subscription further is stored for 2 years and then securely deleted from the system. You can always contact us via telephone or mail and exercise your right to withdraw and delete all information collected.

8. Intellectual Property rights

8.1 Mealout®'s website as well as its content (including images, graphics, photographs, texts, offering services) constitute intellectual property of mealout®. This property is protected by the relevant terms of Greek Law, E.U. law and international treaties about protection of intellectual property.

8.2 Any copy, reproduction, republication, analog/ digital registration and mechanical reproduction, distribution, transfer, downloading, transmission, alteration, resale, creation of derivative work, total or partial modification of any kind, as well as any deception of the public concerning the real provider of the website's content are strictly forbidden.

8.3 Any reproduction, republication, downloading, formal notice, diffusion or transmission or any other use of the content in any way or by any, means for commercial or other purposes are only allowed with the previous permission in writing by mealout® or any other legal beneficiary of the above mentioned intellectual property rights. Names, images, logos and distinctive features representing mealout® belong exclusively to mealout®, are mealout® trademarks and they are protected by the Greek law, E.U. law and international law about commercial signs, industrial and intellectual property and unfair competition.

8.4 On any occasion, their presentation and exposition on the website mealout.com should not be interpreted by any, means as a transmission or assignation of permission or right of use.

9. Amendments to Privacy Policy

9.1 Any changes or updates we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.
