What is mealout®?
Mealout® is the first dining card in Greece and Cyprus offering its members huge savings every time they dine out. Each member receives a personalised membership card which they show at the restaurants to receive the discount.
What does a mealout® membership offer?
A mealout® membership offers 50% OFF the total food bill (drinks are not included). This applies to everyone dining in the group, although the restaurant may place a maximum number of people per booking (see restaurant page for details).
How do I receive my mealout® discount?
1. Visit www.mealout.com to search for a participating restaurant and choose where to dine.
2. Make an advanced booking mentioning mealout®.
3. Show your mealout® card and enjoy 50% OFF your food bill!
What are the average savings each time I use the card?
It depends on where you go and how many people are in the group, but average savings are around 20€-30€ each time the card is used (in a meal of starters, main courses, side dishes and desserts).
Can I dine alone?
Lone diners are able to dine at restaurants and receive the mealout® 50% discount off the food bill.
Can I use more than one mealout® cards per booking?
Of course. If, for example, a restaurant accepts 4 people for every mealout® membership and your group consists of 8 people with 2 mealout® cards, please inform the restaurant’s staff and they will be glad to assist you, as long as the availability of the restaurant permits it.
Can we have more diners than the maximum number stated and still get a partial discount on the final food bill?
The maximum number is stated to determine the number of diners allowed to dine in a party. If there are extra people in your party, the restaurant is not obliged to offer the mealout® discount.
Where is the mealout® discount applied?
The 50% OFF is applied on meals consisting of main course and/or starters, salads, side dishes and desserts. Drinks are excluded.
Why didn't I receive the discount when I ordered from the set menu?
The mealout® discount is only applied to the full, à la carte menu. If a restaurant offers a set menu, this does not qualify for the mealout® discount.
I saw a restaurant on your website which has closed down, why is it still appearing?
We rely on our partner restaurants to inform us if their restaurant has closed down. If you are aware of any restaurant no longer operating, our friendly team will be happy to assist you at .
Does mealout® discount apply for take out orders?
Unfortunately, mealout® discount does not apply for take out orders. All members must dine in the restaurant in order to benefit from the discount.
Is my choice of dishes limited when using my mealout® card?
No! Your mealout® card can be used on any item on the restaurant's à la carte menu, so you are never restricted from great choice! Please note: The offer cannot typically be used in conjunction with any special set menu or other offer.
Why do some restaurants request booking in advance?
If the restaurant of your choice appears with a telephone icon on its page on the website of mealout®, then a booking is necessary, as well as mentioning mealout® membership in advance. This is important as, if the discount is not pre-mentioned and the bill is issued, the restaurant’s manager will have to redefine the amount of the bill, a long-lasting procedure. If the restaurant is aware of your mealout® membership in advance, the discount is offered directly. Our partner restaurants request a booking at least 4 hours before your meal, on the occasion a telephone icon appears on their page on the website of mealout®. The restaurant is not obliged to offer a discount if a booking mentioning mealout® has not been made in advance.
Why do restaurants participate and provide such a big discount to mealout® members?
As mealout® is a closed community, the restaurants are able to offer a large discount without publicising that offer to the general public. As our members pay for membership they are the type of customers that the restaurants like to get through their doors. The whole ethos of mealout® is to make dining out more affordable, thus encouraging people to eat out more regularly. By doing this, we help both our members and our partner restaurants; and as such we are highly valued by both.
Can I use my card 7 days a week?
Yes! Many of our restaurants offer the mealout® discount 7 days a week. Some restaurants do have individual restrictions including weekend days or celebration days, so please check the individual restaurant details on our website prior to booking. Note: All restaurants are able to exclude Friday and/or Saturday evenings, Christmas and/or Easter days if they choose so.. Full details can be found on each individual restaurant page.

How long will it take for my card to arrive?
Using standard delivery, the delivery should take 3-5 working days to arrive. If, of course, you wish for an express delivery, then it should arrive faster. Details about sending and delivery status of your card are thoroughly explained in the “Buy Membership” page at "Delivery Options" section.
Can I buy a membership as a gift for someone else?
Yes! Click “Buy Gift Card” for a loved one. We can even add a personalised greeting of your choice, gift wrap the membership and deliver it directly to the recipient for you!
How can I change/ update my contact details?
You can change your contact details by contacting our Service Department at +30 210 220 4100 (9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Mon-Fri), or alternatively, via e-mail at .
What happens if I lose my mealout® card?
If you lose your annual mealout® card, you are able to request a replacement by contacting our Service Department, with 19,99€ replacement fees. If you lose your 3-month mealout® card, you are able to request a replacement by contacting our Service Department, with 9,99€ replacement fees. The payment can be made on the phone via credit/ debit card and the new card issued will illustrate the original expiry date. If you lose your monthly mealout® card, unfortunately no replacement can be offered.
Do I have to order 3 courses?
For the minimum number of courses ordered per person, please see the information of each individual restaurant illustrated on our website.
Are the cards transferable?
No, the cards are strictly non-transferable. They are printed with your name on, thus they cannot be loaned to friends or family members.
How do I keep informed of new restaurants joining?
Our website, www.mealout.com, is fully up-to-date with all of the offers currently available. The number of restaurants is growing all of the time, and you can keep informed by visiting the website and signing up for the mealout® newsletter, which will be emailed to you with details about new restaurants recently joined the scheme.
